You should be bringing it back to them Gary, but if you're going to do it yourself only fill the reservoir to just below the max level. The pressure from bleeder will fill it to the very top, so in this way when you release the pressure in the bleeder to disconnect, it will draw back the excess from the reservoir, and you won't get fluid all over the place when you release the cap! Use rags as a precaution as there will nearly always be fluid some loss!
In any case it sounds like air was allowed to enter the system when the calipers were being fitted. It's quite a large hyd system and so it's easy to run out of fluid, so start with plenty of fluid in the bleeder! When you open the first nipple (NSR) use GAP at the same time to help expel any air from that line and the ABS pump. Then move on the the DSR, and repeat but keeping an eye on the contents of the bleeder.
Once all 4 corners and the ABS are thoroughly flushed you should be back to normal. If not there's either still remaining air, or possibly a problem with the master cylinder piston seals, but we'll cross that bridge if we meet it.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Bless u mate as that’s a great tip with regards to the pressure bleeder
Ah didn’t realise that ref the gap iid, thks so much as all these tips really help
Indeed thought about sending it back but just put doubt into my mind , will also allow me to check these rear lower wishbones that was on the mot advisory and check rest of the braking system , will also need to fit the new brake pad wear sensors I bought seeing they weren’t fitted
Before the brakes were done the pedal was fine , agree with regards to air being allowed to enter when the calipers were replaced , currently have 1 x litre of new brake fluid
Wouldn’t hurt ordering another tin seeing I wish to replace all my fluid at the same time, only found the ATE one that’s class 6
Thks again my friend and hope ur keeping well

So still haven’t got round to bleeding the brakes but my pops treated me to some brake spanner’s, wished to share as must confess never seen them before
Didn’t realise but has a check valve built in to each one and with the design easy to undo/ tighten the bleeders without having to lift them off the bleed points
Fingers crossed will get them done in the new year

U sound as bad as me regarding tools , glad u also liked them , must confess did treat myself to some tool organisers in 1/2” - 3/8” and 1/4” to finally try and sort out the tool cabinet drawers
Did take a while to find a socket holder for the impact sockets , in the end got the tall holder for them , funny enough the long impact sockets fitted the smaller flat holder
That’s fantastic , thank u so much an will watch that later , in the mean time have subscribed
Thks again

Think I’ve got a pliers problem as i finally collected them into one place
Have found the 3 x trim pliers extremely useful for removing the inner plastic wheel arch clips
Also find it very difficult staying away from boot fares , there always seems to be a tool stall where u can pick up some great bargains
