Don’t blame u , Looks like they shut the air down to much or altered the nozzle pressure

Fingers crossed they’ve resolved it very quickly , bet the engineer will have fun cleaning that mess out

Hope it all gets sorted out asap before it starts leaving soot everywhere indoors

As a side note and hope u don’t mind me mentioning , is that filter above a water drain plse and looks like they’ve just rested the flue cage over the flue , plus get them to extend the pressure relief down the wall to save ur paint , shame they couldn’t have moved the oil lines further away from the flue , hope that doesn’t come across rude in any way

is it the pressure relief or the condensate pipe ?

I extended the relief pipe to above a drain, so I can still see if it's leaking but it doesn't spray everywhere. The condensate pipe goes into the (plastic) internal sink waste, no acid etching and - more importantly - no chance of it freezing in the winter.

Does look like a pressure relief with it returning to the wall but never say never , lol, indeed copper shouldn’t ever be used for condense due to it being acidic

other concerns were the filter above the drain as if it leaks can go straight into drainage , at least they put the KBB after the filter but worse on 35 x second fuelled boilers when filters were near / on the ground due to freezing / waxing

Good call with being able to keep the condense inside , think some of the current regs now require a condense filter before it’s allowed to discharge , but alas been out of the industry a good few years so not up to date with current regs

Also wondering with 2 x copper pipes going through the wall if there’s a tiger loop fitted , luckily can’t see any soldered fittings used on the oil feed pipes

Such a shame when some don’t take any pride in there work as use to see some shocking installs , never forget seeing one terminate his boiler flue into the conservatory and couldn’t understand why I had to shut his boiler down , I kid u not
