Halo Pro rear dashcam wiring

Just about to install the Halo Pro front and rear dash cam.

Is there a preferred method of routing the wiring from the rear dashcam to the front? Through the headlining or down the D pillar and along the bottom? Better to be late in this world than early in the next.
