I had my daughter's 2008 D3 in yesterday for a pressure and leak test with a re gas if ok. £90 and no hassle. Seems like you're doing a lot of messing around with no certainty and little financial gain in very hot weather. 🥵

Just stumbled across this vid - ignoring the first part, it's a good demo on how to connect the vacuum and then reload. Not planning to do it myself this time, but interesting to see what's involved:
