Update

So basically comes with a different CJB/BCM ,got a new one and needs to be flashed after install (brand new BCM /CJB) so to retrofit electric steering column ,you will need a dash loom with electric tilt/telecopic terminals /an electric steering column /control button/new plastic trim /and new BCM with electric steering column and the rest can be done wit IId tool from Gap.

Guess your the guinea pig then.. Its an expensive way of getting what you wanted in the first place rather than buy the right vehicle. Good luck with your ambition if its not just money down the drain as it cant be done.

Never use mine! - but good luck with the upgrade and don't forget to notify your insurance.

The ideea was to get some tehnical help,if it can't be done , i would like to know why,and if something can get retrofitted/upgraded ,an advice will be nice ,in regards to memorry seats ,the wiring on a graphite 2016 is there same as for mirrors and memorry switch ,gap iid tool and you will have them working ,in regards to electric adjustament column ,i see no reason not to work ,the wiring /cjb/hardware +software all ok ,as of why im doing it and not changing the car ,its more like something to keep me busy and my car is over 100k miles anyway ,i would like to see tehnical advices ,not to expensive ,insurance will go up ,... anyway thanks for your kind words .

I would email GAP and check out exactly the capabilities of the GAP tool and what needs uploading for your project, Pat would also be a good source of knowledge re the possible issues . Going to JLR to enable ECUs is not going to help as they can only upload what the system allows and thats basically down to original configuration as it left the factory which is checked against the VIN and has to be connected online .
The reason you have not heard from anybody that has tried is probably because nobody has tried ! Have you tried searching on here ?

I may be wrong but I would be surprised if you need a new BCM, Using a suitable diagnostic tool like the Gap IID tool I would expect that you will just need to edit the CCF files to tell the car which parts are now fitted.

LR074207 is the bcm/cjb with electric steering column /LR074205 is the one for a manual adjustment /ccf files you can edit ,button works shows when switched on auto ,power to the motors is zero as the cjb dosent have the transistors to power the motors,i did had a long chat with Patrick from Gap,they are going to write a special program when my new bcm gets delivered /and the only down side is it must be a new unprogramed bcm same serial numbers one is version AA the new one is BA
