Thanks for sharing. Interested in your graphs and how varying amounts of minerals are found in the oil. Are these cumulative results from many points of analysis (in other words, is your x axis ‘time’ and if so over what period (months, years etc).
Cheers
The X axis data is not time bound. Each sample of oil is taken when it passes a personally set minimum mileage that I have arrived at based upon soot and fuel buildup levels arising from my driving type and style. Each data point is one of the oil samples and to see the mileage that each data point represents, you should refer to the table.
I have learned over the years that oil analysis is the best way to determine the health of my engine and this dictates service intervals. The car continues to receive its "B" service in accordance with Land Rover's recommendations, but I handle all "A" services and undertake them with reference to the trend lines on the charts. I cannot control the wear metals and other substrates in the oil but minimising fuel dilution keeps the oil viscosity in range and minimising soot reduces the abrasive paste buildup. Keeping both of these aspects of oil health in a 'green' zone will minimise the wear of the components in the engine.
If the OP's data were my own, I would recognise that the remap was introducing more fuel to the combustion chamber and thus creating higher levels of soot (an abrasive paste in the oil), so reduced interval oil changes would therefore be necessary. An Italian tune up may well make the situation worse, not better.
The morale of this lecture (sorry) is that without having several data points to see the trends, a solitary oil sample is really not that helpful....
BTW - I have asked LR Time to undertake oil analysis on their various engines, as I think this would be a useful subject for their channel. However, to date, they have not taken up the idea.

This chart shows the trend in soot buildup over a period of about 60,000 miles. I concluded that it may well be deteriorating spray patterns of the injectors so several additions of injector cleaner in the fuel tank were tried before replacing the injectors and the trend reverted to a flat line. Problem solved.

Updated figures
Hello all.
I have now collated 20 samples of oil from my own vehicles and some from other contributors (thank you). Attached is a screenshot of values obtained so far.
The mileage at sample #1 is around 100k and at sample #2 is around 200k (i.e., the further to the right, the higher the mileage), and they are for oil samples that have done between 5000 and 7000 miles.
You will now be able to compare your own results against those from other forum members. This will give you some idea of where your own vehicle is compared to the group.

Happy to share my results, if they're of interest. I only did one so far with Millers at around 253k miles on relatively young oil, and I'm going to do another in the next couple of weeks around 259k miles.

I take it from this comment that the injector cleaner didn't work?

I have never done an oil analysis for my Discovery, but I have done for my Range Rover SDV8.
It's useful to me to see the figures that people have here, to compare and contrast. I would be interested to know what oil is in each sample though, as there are some big variations in the calcium/zinc/molybdenum/boron.

Sent mine across NC500, and that was Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 C3 with about 3.5k miles on it (changed a bit early as I wasn't going to have another opportunity for quite a while).
The next analysis will be on Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 A3/B4 with about 6k miles on it so will be interesting to see how the values change.
The car is a 2005 D3 TDV6 auto, 259k miles, original engine, EGRs blanked, no DPF either obviously. And normally run on Shell V-Power Diesel.

Yes the cleaner did work- soot levels returned to normal

I agree, which is why I don’t include results for these elements. The additive package varies so much between manufacturers that including them would be meaningless.
