Just buy a 7pinx7pin to 13pin adapter, they are about 12" long and you will have the benefit of charging the battery through the white one It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

What do you want the 7 pin for is it the twin 7 pin for a caravan or is it just a 7 pin for a trailer.
If the 7 pin for a trailer then fit the 13 pin electrics to car for future proofing and then buy the cheap plug that plugs into a 13 pin and converts it to 7 pin
If it’s a twin 7 pin for caravan go for the 13 pin on the car and then buy the more expensive adaptor to turn the 13 pin into the twin 7 pin for a caravan. This will make the car future proof but also allow the caravan to be towed
Even cheaper fit 13pin plug on the caravan!
