2012 Sdv6 Rear E-diff oil capacity and fill?

So my manual says 1.72 L

so i drained and filled it up until it dribbled out of filler hole £and it showed to be around 0.28 left in the container.

Have i overfilled the Rear E-diff?

Hi

Looked on advanced and it quotes 1.5 litres for the rear E diff , did also see the following

CAUTION: Do not fill the differential with lubricant up to the filler plug. The filler plug is only used to fill the differentail with lubricant, and not to act as a level indicator.

The oil used in the electronic rear differential is Castrol SAF-Carbon Mod Plus. The oil contains unique additives and friction modifiers, which enhance the differentials operation. No other oil must be used in the electronic rear differential.

Part number LR019727

Hope it helps

Ok Thanks for reply, I've also seen 1.5 and read on forum that alot of LR technicians actually fill to drain.

I've got the right oil to use, and my original manual actually says 1.72liters for servic, and when filled to fill plug it took 1.7.
