Clip for Panel Below Steering Wheel
After replacing the brake light switch I need 1 clip to replace the clip that pinged off the panel below the steering wheel and is nowhere to be found (the panel was not put back in place retained by just one clip as it probably would also have gone missing then the panel was removed to fit a replacement clip to replace the one that has gone missing).
Looking at a parts diagram the part number of the clip is FYC500040.
How much are these parts likely to cost over the counter at the parts department at a local Land Rover dealer (as it might be cheaper to do this than pay £5.00 carriage to buy a single one online).

The panel can easily be held on with one clip, to assist removal put a spot of grease on the clips. I open mine regularly without any problem, I use it to keep the Iid tool in, when opened the slot is just wide enough It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Phoned local Land Rover dealer which is not that far away from where I live and FYC500040 are £2.98 (inc VAT) there so I will get it there.

Sorry to slightly hijack the thread but I recently discovered this panel and wondered what the hell it was. Just looks like some sort of vent....what's it for?
