New AGM Starter Battery in MY16 reset or not?

Morning Campers!

The original LR 017AGM starter battery has started to show signs of failure with the low battery warning & slugglish cranking after it's been sat for a week or two.

The guy at the shop confirmed it was showing low voltage & 65% capacity. I've picked up an 017AGM replacement from BBL. Its's their own brand (Avon), apparently a rebadged Exide, so in theory the same battery that came out.

My questions is have read a threads, do I need to rest the battery detail in the car with the IID if it's a like for like replacement? If so, can you point me in the direction of where to find it? It's not something I recall seeing in the menus, unless it's hiding in plain sight!

All in all, an original battery that lasted nearly 7 years & £160 to replace it isn't bad I guess.

I changed my stop-start battery over without the need for an IID tool and all was well.

Thanks Guys,

All done. Found the reference in the IID Manual. Looks as though it just resets the monitoring under Body Control.

I presume the battery type is set in the CCF.
