windscreen washers - weak and no squirt

the front windshield washers produce close to no squirt - one of them is fairly weak that barely reaches the windshield, the other one is basically non existent.

the pumps are likely ok - the rear glass squirt is strong and powerful, and the headlamps also get their share as expected.

have checked the nozzles on the jets - poked with a needle - and they seem to be ok.

what else am i missing? any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If the rear works well that is weird.

Maybe a kinked pipe ? But it is in the wiring loom.

I think you need to disconnect one jet. Turn it on and see if you get good flow. And see if rubbish comes out

Remove the sound deadening from under the bonnet.

One or both, by the sound of it, pipes may have popped off.

Chuck some Milton fluid - the stuff for sterilising babies bottles - in the washer tank. Should get rid of any crud in the pipes.

Well it runs a similar route to the wires.
It keeps it protected from damage.
Easier to install at the factory
