IID date and time

How can I fix the date and time on my IID? If I have a fault logged the date and time of occurrence isn’t correct. Didn’t really bother me before but now it does.

It should report date, time and mileage. Have you the correct date and time set in your instrument panel? yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Time is correct on clock, can’t find the date showing anywhere in the car (2006 D3) mileage shows correct on IID but date and time are way out against fault recordings. If I go into ECU infos and go to logs the correct time and date show.

I wondered if there was a solution to this. The date & time in the car is correct. But the IID reports some weird event time & dates when the faults are logged

B13C2-86 - Windshield misting sensor - Bus signal/message failure - signal is invalid (28)

B13C2-96 - Windshield misting sensor - Component failure - internal failure (28)

Any thoughts?

Have you got the Wifi or mobile data turned on? I think IID gets that data from the internet! yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Yup, both Wifi & data is turned on on the phone used to connect to the IID.

Strange one.

Updated the firmware this morning to B2803 & that corrected the date & time in the reports Thumbs Up

HVAC-Ventilation
