Question for the underbody protection experts Whistle

I have a mantec front bash plate ..... purchased on here a million years ago!.

As Mantec no longer exist/ supplies, anyone have experience marrying the Mantec front guard with other manufacturers to add other plates and carry on the protection under the D3?

Guessing its the transmisson plate next?

Dont want to get something and have to try manipulate them together Banging Head Laughing

Another option may be to buy compatible ones and sell the one you have. I have the LR front steering guard, compressor guard and the Bearmach transmission guard, I'm after a sump guard and fuel tank guard.

OOI how effective is the original sump guard? I just have that ATM and it seemed to fair OK on a recent trip.

The Mantec one is bullet proof in fairness. I know I could go the route you suggest and start again, so to speak. But thinking 'they don't make 'em like they used to' Very Happy and I should just add on to the one I have.

I have the prospeed compressor guard, which is a fine bit of kit too.

Have you a pic of the LR steering guard?

I have the genuine Land Rover winch version front guard.
Which happily sits next to my Prospeed engine, centre and diff guards.

The engine guard can be removed without bothering the winch guard.

Not a cheap route but you do gain 1.1mpg having it all on… Whistle

Yup.
My long term average went from 23.9 to 25 with it fitted.

So with that staggering boost to the mpg, it’s a practical modification that will pay for itself.

The minor issue is how much it all costs new to get the armour.
I got lucky and got it second hand at less than 50% of new price. Whistle
