I’m based in Oldham near Manchester, but get all over the country in reality. It usually works out to combine jobs on a trip for customers further away from home.
I’m heading down to Cornwall on Friday for a busy weekend

Hi
All the very best and ur company goes from strength to strength
May I ask will u be doing a web site in the near future plse , many thks
Thanks gstuart
It is my intention to create a small website when I’ve got time to do it, but my main aim is to keep things based on forum’s, Facebook and word of mouth in reality
The G4 goes from strength to strength….it’ll be it’s 10th anniversary of being in my ownership this year
Like a plumber with a leak this week though…..the 15year old compressor tank has given up and is holding about as much pressure as a wet sock

Ur so welcome and many thks with regards to the web site , see where ur coming from in trying to keep the costs down
Luckily seen one of the D3 G4’s in the flesh , gorgeous looking motors that’s for sure, see there was a 4.4 petrol 2005 V8 for sale , think it was around 22k , not surprising being so rare
Ah yes the reservoir tank, mine also went on the top weld , before fitting a new one I gave it 3-4 coats of dinotrol , along with all new stainless steel nuts/ bolts / brass push fits replacing the voss connectors , blimey those Voss fittings are expensive for what they are
Hope u don’t mind me asking but do u happen to do the changing of timing belts/ oil pump on a 2.7 D3 and come into kent plse
Many thks

More than happy to come down to Kent, I may or may not need to combine it with other jobs on the way down or in the area, but something usually works out. I’m not currently offering timing belts though I’m afraid.

Glow Plugs change
Hi,
Clive was booked in to do a set of Glow Plugs for me today, so last night put the D3 in the garage so it would be nice and dry for him
turns out if you do that it ends up being sunny all day and he was working inside to do them
All went smoothly and I am now looking forward to ZERO degree's and easy starting (Probably November now )
Glad I had Clive do the GP's as having the right tools for the job makes it look straight forward,
(and convinced me it was not a job I wanted to try and glad I got him in)
also knowing he had the right tools if they did NOT come out gives peace of mind it would still have been sorted.
He's good with Glow plugs and mechanical diagnosis
but not sure about medical diagnosis, although thats another story
