Discovered today at my Disco 3. The plastic frame on the underside of the windscreen is partially loose (see photo). It looks greater than it is. Is this a problem? what should be done? The interior is dry.

Happened on mine - age I guess. It's a potential source of water ingress- my pollen filter got damp.
Proper long term solution would be to replace the scuttle panel I would say.
However I used a little Dow Corning black waterproof silicon - i had it to hand and time was against me. That was two or three years back and I've had no problems.
I'll replace the panel eventually but it may help in the interim?I see no ships........
The sealing lip on the windshield does not look like a real seal. I investigated the issue more closely and ran a real water test. All three water inlets (pictures 2 to 4) get into the same one Water drainage to the outside (picture 5). This applies to both sides.
