2004 ZF auto transmission - delayed dump of oil

Hi
This is an odd one.
new pan/filter 6000 miles prior never a drop leaked.
1 week after last using the car it dropped. estimated 200cc, of oil on to the garage floor.
I cleaned it up underneath and went through a top up procedure. running up to temp, leaving it in 'Drive' etc etc. I needed to add 250cc.

I drove it for a week and checked every day - no leak.
I leave it parked (with carboard underneath and check every other day) and then just over 2 weeks later it drops again a good volume of oil.
So this does not appear a leak when running. and why the delay in the leak?

I was wondering if the ZF box has a breather. If blocked then a change of atmospheric pressure may cause this?
or
is it most likely the common reported cable entry gland.
when running the oil level is below the gland and when stood stationary, and the oil all drains down, then oil is above the gland and poors out?
On the forum. reported cable gland leaks are just that, a few drips maybe a bit more.

Advice welcome please

If it’s dumping that much oil, surly you can see where from ? Evidence left behind

Is it a metal or plastic sump ?

when not running the fluid level is higher than the pan gasket surface so you have a gasket leak.

The box can leak out of the rear seal and fill the voids between the gearbox and transfer casings, it can take sometime to leak from there to the ground.
