Fast flashing indicators when reverse selected

Hi All

Had D4 rear lights fitted for a while with no problems, last week end I fitted the pre facelift D4 headlamps and I get a flickering when I first put them on and I know there is a fix for that but cant find it in the past posts. I think you have to change the headlight type selection with the OBD tool??

Not the end of the world but annoying and also since the headlight swap when I select reverse the indicators start going mad is that because I have to add a resistor some where or is it a short maybe??

Appreciate your opinions and or help

For the headlights, I think you need to edit the CCF which requires an IID tool or equivalent, not just an OBD tool.

Re the indicators, do you mean they get activated by selecting reverse? Or do you mean they are already on but selecting reverse makes them go mad?

Hi
Thanks for that info
Really strange put hazards on and put it in reverse and all is normal, put each side indicators on and reverse and they start going fast on both but noticed when I took it out of reverse the right hand indicator started occasionally to have a hic cup (you can hear the relay) in between flashes then it came good after 15 or 20 seconds. At one point I went round the back and the right one was not working then did it again and all was working ok
All this started after I put the front D4 headlights on her or is that just a coincidence maybe!
