Its proportional, I reckon a 3 year old auto will command about 750 more than a manual.

United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

So many things to press and think about nowadays, I like to leave as much as possible to the tech stuff to sort out. I wouldn't really want the added hassle when in central London mode. Had auto's in the last 3 cars, and had enough control to almost perfect a reasonable power slide in the omega's,.. almost ...

The D3 just seems to go where the front is pointed with little or no drama. I have't tried a manual D3 though, so I guess I'm biased.
..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

Quite, so the auto costs more in depreciation and fuel. I live in the sticks so like the manual but accept that people living in the M25 ghetto would prefer auto.
