LR3 GS Head Unit Advice
Hi all, new to this forum and to owning a Land Rover. I have been driving our works workhorse around for 12 months but recently bought it and now I want to set about giving it some much needed TLC. The first thing I wish to do to my newly acquired LR3 GS 2008, is to add an Audio / Sat Nav system with the capacity to include DAB and reverse camera if possible. I have looked through many posts on here but none seem to mirror my exact circumstances and I am ignorant to whether these differences may matter.
I don't have an amplifier under the passenger seat or a 6 disc changer (as far as I am aware). There is currently nothing but a cubby hole where a system would likely be and I have a flat CD with linear numbers below and a green screen above, as opposed to those with the numbers in a cluster to the left of the green screen.
I have no experience in electrical car wiring so a lot of the terminology found so far, simply goes over my head. I would be ever so grateful if someone could offer the most layman of advice as to where I should start? Thanks in advance everyone.

You have the basic stereo system with four speakers directly wired to the stereo unit. It can be replaced with an aftermarket stereo (2 DIN = double height) system that will fit in its place in the center console. As you have a choice of many aftermarket stereos I’m (reasonably) sure you can find one with both reversing camera and DAB built in.
Hope this helps

Thanks Kajtzu
That's a good start Kajtzu. If anyone could recommend or link such a unit, I would be grateful.
Thanks again.
