Disco 3 Side vent is is safe to spray water inside? ESF

Hi Guys,

I got Engine system Fault right after I washed the car with spray pressure..no water that I can see on the foot places etc..
I know it could be coincidence but I am absoolutely sure it has to do the with the water and the fact that I cleaned the engine boxes etc..( just wet cloth)

So I did spray a lot of water while washing towards the Side vent is that safe ..The Car was offf ofcourse while I did that but can water go insde somehow//

or shoudl these be the EggR valves blocked

By side vent do you mean the air intake in the wing?

Obviously yours didn't get quite this treatment but firing a jet wash into the air intake isn't the greatest of ideas.
