Hello I'm new to the forums section on here and thanks for letting me be apart of the community, I have recently purchased a discovery 3 SE and it has a leak of exhaust gases believed to be from the crossover pipe and was also told also from previous owner. Now I do know that this topic has been covered by @Trex-on and is pretty much detailed with the photos but the description on the post is a little confusing. So I've purchased a 2nd hand crossover pipe from ebay (seller mentioned Good Condition prior to removal) and I am currently attempting to do this on my own (Newbie).
Now so far I have removed the battery, tray and have also managed to remove the egr cooler on the passenger side (still has bottom hose connected but pushed this to one side) and now I am focusing on the heat shield removal on top of the crossover pipe (I believe) so I have managed to remove the bolt which is accessible but there is another right around back of it which is near impossible to get to. How have people manage to get this nut out. Thanks. Please move to correct forum if I'm in the wrong part.
