Hi
Do you have the remote module plugged into the loom? My car has timed climate but it didn't have the remote option so nothing was fitted to the loom. The loom is above the wheel arch where the jack is stored. Mine loom connector was protected in grey foam.

So I think you have a couple of options. Buy a Land Rover remote kit so you can have the extra key fob to enable FBH or you can install the Altox system. You can then use your mobile to control the FBH. You will need to have a SIM card and use mobile data. Gift Gaff do a cheap sim though (we’ll they did when I bought mine). Bonus is you get tracking of the vehicle as well if you buy the GPS version.
I’m sure there maybe other option but those two seem the most popular.
Hope that helps. Others may throw in others.
The search function on here will probably give you a lot more depth of detail.

Go for GSM operation for remote.. if you want the full comfort….
One or two buildings in between and a std remote does not work. (Let alone a shopping mall)
If money is tight, you can look for cheaper optionsBest regards

Depends on your behavior, if you read out the GPS data everyday or even real time when your misses is away with the Disco, it wil use more than only 1 start every day…
I have the cheapest (ongoing monthly rate) SIM i could find only using 25 mb during winter months and 12mb in the summer
Well make that 200mb each month to be safe Best regards
