Suspension fault - time to throw a grenade underneath it? |
|
Hi,
Long time lurker and Disco 3 owner - usually find all of the answers to my problems but this time I'm a little bit stuck!
More through laziness than anything else I've had a suspension fault for a while and finally got around to fixing it - turns out a cable had worn through from the rear valve block and the rear-left sensor arms was clagged up. So, those fixed and fault codes cleared she behaved herself for about a week until last saturday - got in started her up and it went in to extended mode, clear obstruction etc. Pressed down on the paddle and it went to normal height. Drove 25 miles to where we going, no problems. Coming back I had the familiar amber wearning light come up and the front dropped.
Got home, vehicle dropped to bump stops and now the only code I'm getting is C1131-92(AF). The compressor doesn't even attempt to start up. Codes clear, pressing the paddle for normal or Off-road mode results in amber light and suspension fault after about 10-15 seconds.

further to this - live values for the suspension are sat at L-67 R-82 L140 R-134 whilst it's sat on the bump stops and scrolling through the live values the "Terrain mode" is displaying "fail safe".
