Anybody had issues with aftermarket rear back plates?

Anybody had issues with aftermarket rear back plates?

My mechanic sent me this message earlier. Might mean the epb cables won’t adjust enough after new brake shoes😳

No that’s the same length, the inside diameter has a step in it which the outer part of the cable sits on that’s in a different place.
Basically the large of the two inside diameters that’s drilled deeper than the original
