England v Germany? In the final, great entertainment show the men how to do it It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I'm not a big football fan mainly due to the pathetic play acting and drama queen's but the woman's football was a joy to watch. Cracking performance by England with no diving or rolling around, playing with fight and passion.
Can't wait to watch the final

Good result and good luck for the final on Sunday.
Still not my 'cup of tea', have seen snippets of it here and there over the week and I think I'm coming to conclusion it is the female commentator that spoils my enjoyment more than the football itself but I still don't find it good to watch generally.
Hopefully the swell of interest continues after this tournament and the WSL top clubs don't go back to average gates of 865 or so, it can't be a business model on a par with mens/other sports with those levels of support and business cost, etc. so still a long way to go to catch up with men's sport in terms of pay parity, etc.

+1 on that. Watched quite a lot of women play football over the years, very rare to see anything like this. However, boys/youths footie is full of it, as they learn from their heroes. Tragic.

It's one of the reasons why I've never taken much interest in football. Mens football could learn a lot from the girls and also from rugby. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

Best part about rugby is the respect for the referee. Only the captain can address him, IIRC? My dad always told me football was a gentlemans game played by hooligans, and rugby was a hooligans game played by gentlemen.

Brian Cloughs Forest never intimidated the refs or linesmen or cheated on the pitch as it was drilled into them by the manager that he wouldn't accept such behaviour.
The only reason it happens is because the managers encourage it.
