I must be mad!
Not in a million years did I expect to be returning to the D4 fold. I must be mad! Since I PX'd my D4 HSE for a D5 in 2020, SWMBO has kept mentioning how she misses it and I've secretly thought that it was an outstanding vehicle. Anyway, a year ago the D5 went off to pastures new and sitting on my drive is a superb Defender 110 First Edition. My problem is, I can't really warm to it and the tailgate bloody annoys me.
So, I just might be off to have a look at a 2016 Landmark with all the bells and whistles. Financially it makes sense plus having had a D3 and two D4s previously, I know my way around them. SWMBO said, "Well if it makes you happy, then go ahead". Let's wait and see what happens.

There still isn't a replacement vehicle (LR or otherwise) for the D4. Nothing matches its versality or practicality.
The L405 was the closest match for my requirements, but I do miss the boot space/shape and the storage spaces of the D3/4. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE

2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE
