Can anyone help me identify this strange squeak?
Listen at 15seconds, and again around 20seconds.

It's a pure guess, but wheel bearings can make a extraordinary range of sounds when they start to wear. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Not bearings... Can get it even when car stationary.
Does the 3L tdv6 have a similar issue with the turbo actuator like in the 2.7l?
I was wondering if it is the actuator that is squeaking.
Again... Not rear ediff as heard it when stationary.
Could the adblue injection system make a sound like this?

Hmmmm.
The phrase 'Can get it when stationary' seems more important to me.
If it happens when you aren't moving I'd stop moving and start investigating more. It rules out lots of things.
Do you get a better sound when the bonnet is open? Do you get the same timings of the sound when stationary as you do when moving?
That could point towards belts or if it (sound) changes time interval when you start to move then maybe transmission or rev related.
Can you pinpoint a better location with the bonnet open?
Is it still 15 and 20 secs when stationary and the bonnet is open? Jim

Oxford... Maybe I wasn't completely clear... The sound doesn't come every 15-20 seconds... You could hear it AT the 15 second mark, and again at the 20 second mark.
It is not at regular intervals.
I managed to repeat it when stationary by reving the engine "just right", but I cannot always reproduce it.
Other than this noise, the car driver PERFECTLY, and there are no errors recorded.
Car had just come back from LR garage having the throttle body replaced under warranty. I originally thought it was the butterfly valve making noise when it opens or closes, but still there with a new Throttle body.
I still have nearly 2 years warranty but the LR garages here in Luxembourg are CRAP, and the one that I now go to is a 30 minute drive away.
I only hear the noise when driving slowly. If I go above 50kph it doesn't do it at all.
Most noticeable of I drive nice and slow, up hill, and speed up a bit, and the slow down a bit, the speed up a bit. Each time I press harder in the accelerator I can hear it. Same when I let off the accelerator.
From inside it almost sounds as though it is coming from the rear, but when I had the bonnet open the other day, it really sounded as though it was from the engine compartment.
I may have to take it back to LR and see if I can reproduce it with a technicien in the car.

Small update.
LR don't have time to take a look for the next 2 weeks, so went to a friendly independent garage that I know (not LR specialist!!).
They took a look immediately, and it seems that the issue is the exhaust pressure control valve.
So... at least it is not something critical, and can wait until the appointment that I have been given by LR so that it is covered under warranty.
Has anyone here had this issue?
Anyone know how much & how long that repair will take?

I had posted there, but posted here also as this site has more active members, and since the engines etc are all the same, I hoped to get some info here.
BUT... I didn't want to just leave it unanswered as so often happens.
