It is with a heavy heart I must sell the car I have wanted for over 10 years. Due to ill health DVLA have suspended my driving licence for a minimum of one year. It took me a long time to decide it was a D4 I wanted. With all the reliability issues and the difficulties with home maintenance. But in July 2021 I said sod it lets go for it. I knew they could have engine issues, so I managed to source a very tidy D4 with the dreaded snapped crank shaft. I had the car recovered to Tim at Alltrack 4x4 Ltd. Here they put me in a brand-new created replacement engine form Land Rover with a two year warranty , I have spoken to Tim and the warranty is transferable. While they were at it I got them to fit two new turbos in case the old ones failed and destroyed the new engine. Whilst Tim had the body off he replaced extra auxiliary items such as water pump, idlers, belts and brake pipes. Within the pictures of the car for sale I have included the extensive list of components Alltrack 4x4 replaced. Since collecting the car in July 2021 I have covered 6,716 miles and replaced the oil and oil and air filters twice. In the year of ownership, I have also replaced
The battery, Exide start stop AGM 95Ah 017 from Tanya batteries.
The electrical tailgate release switch.
The brake light switch
The water expansion tank and cap from Advanced Factors
Two new Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/55/19 tyres
I have also added the following
Reverse camera wired into existing Land Rover Harman/ Kardon head unit.
Remote FBH heater control via smart phone
Upgraded security system
Refurbished the detachable tow bar with new lock and added the security fixing plate.
Changed the headlights from Halogen to Bi-Xenon with the fairy light side lights with added anti-theft security brackets. Can be changed back to original if buyer prefers
The only job I wanted to do but did not get around to doing it was the High level brake light, this works ok but they tend to fade with age.
