Front hub/ wheel bearing recommendations?

Hi all,

My front hubs are whining and they need replacing. Ordinarily I would ask Disco Mike to replace but this is the wrong time of the year for me to be heading down to Dundee. My local shop will replace but I don’t want them buying any old crap to fit…

Can you therefore give me the preferred brands to fit? I dont want cheap, I want reliable!!

Your recommendations are gratefully received!!

Thanks

I fitted these Timken front hubs to my previous D4 with no problems.

Timken is original equipment. Others have tried cheaper versions with varying success, I've used Timken for both fronts on mine, and 60k miles later still good.

I have SKF local-ish to me in Luton. They're a dependable brand and worth a look.
