Front wheels don’t align with each other
Hi all,
Sadly what appeared a relatively straightforward job of replacing the front lower suspension arms has had a bit of a complication.
My dad in his infinite wisdom thought he could get away with not undoing the hub nut but then realised the ball joint wouldn’t come out without. At this point both bolts were removed from the bushes and he decided to attempt the undo the very tight hub nut when the hub wasn’t properly supported.
The whole passenger hub turned inward towards the drivers side while the drivers wheel remains facing straight.
Does anyone have any idea what we may have broken or need to adjust to fix this at all?
Any help would be amazing. It’s booked for an MOT tomorrow and doesn’t look like we’re going to make that now
Thanks,
Jamie

Probably pulled the inner CV bearings out the "cup"
They can be pushed back in in situ with a little (lot) of patience, but worst case, the boot clamp can be cut, joint realigned, and a universal clamp used to resecure My D3 Build Thread
