I remember Hardy Spicer. …….I was a BEA ( soon to be BA) Engineering apprentice at the time, when I cycled in to work with my Rover 2000 P6 Propshaft strapped to the crossbar and a H/Spicer U/J repair kit that needed fitting. Ahhhhh, the good old days D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Hi @ NC500
Just wished to say what a cracking idea , looks very simple to fit going by the video
Thks again as that’s the first time I’ve seen one
But the cost is high you might as well get a complete prop
Many thks and see what u mean , just the GKN centre bearing , around £55.00 , complete GKN prop approx £315.00
Must also confess never heard of Hardy Spicer before
just purchased 2x hardy spicer props for my d3+d4 they are gkn props manufactured in the uk by hardy spicer, the one that came yesterday from maltings 4x4 was £260 deliveredplease excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

Hardy Spicer are a very old highly reputable company, in fact they may have invented the universal joint as we now call it, as it was always called a Hardy Spicer joint, the originals had a grease nipple but alas they have now been done away with.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
