Please help td27 ecu failed

Hello all hope all well I have a land Rover Discovery 3 td27 my engine ecu is confirmed to be damaged nobody can clone it however I have purchased another ecu from eBay we have fitted it and some tried to program it but failed the ecu is communicating and good how can I get my wheels back again please advice thank you
