Smoke from exhaust when idling or exerlating |
|
Looking for some advice please 🙏
New And first time D4 owner here, when accelerating grey smoke comes out the back only once, I take it for a run above 50 mph and it seems to clear it, but then again the same issue a few days later.
When in traffic the smell is pretty strong and over powering.
Any advice would be great

How old is the car? If you search turbo drain pipe modification, you might find an answer.

Sorry what's EGR ? I have a message pop up on the dash saying partial filter full took for a run on the motorway and it cleared the warning symbol and then was fine for a few days then more smoke on acceleration every now and then.

yes that is typical of a sticking EGR valve . Exhaust gas recirculation !! It is part of the emissions control system. If you do a search you will find plenty on here .
