tow electrics - what do I need

I have an LR3 without either a tow hitch or installed (behind the tow hitch panel) wiring connector (I'd expect a 6pin connection for modern trailers?)

However, I open up the inside pocket in the left hand rear of the car and I find there is a long harness wire with 4 + ground wires and a "heavy duty powered circuit protected taillight converter" wired in

I am in the process of looking for a pop-up travel trailer to tow around. So I have 2 questions

1) Is there a kit to convert this 4/5 pin plug to a 7 pin round connector? Or do I need to rip this out and replace it with one such as the Atlantic British sell? https://www.roverparts.com/electrical/trai...500220ABP/

2) I assume this doesnt have any brake controller. So I'll also need to wire in an electronic braking control?

I havent actually bought the trailer yet. so I am a little blind as to what I need.

reading up a bit more, looks like I will need the 7 pin harness for a travel trailer with an electronic braking module
