Altox GPS Accuracy

Evening All,

I wonder if anyone can help?

I have the controller up and running the heater with no issues but am less happy with the tracking option as the accuracy seems to be well off. It will track my phone really well but will be within a mile or two away on the Altox. It shows connection to multiple satellites. I’m sure when I first had it I could see myself driving around almost in real time.

Have I changed a setting without realising maybe?

Thanks in advance
PJ

Just had a look at mine, using "history" function and it looks less accurate than I remember, but not by an awful lot ... about 10m.

So when I left home this morning, it thought I was 10m north of our house and tonight it thinks I'm 10m west of the same spot.

I've checked in the past and it's been within a metre or so.

Mine is pretty much spot on too, I'd say about 1m out.

Guys dont forget when 3g network goes all these controllers will not work as everything is moving on to 4 or 5G. The modems unless updatable will cease to work.

Flack Thumbs Up

Sorted!

After talking to Altox support there was an incorrect setting. Now working properly and tracking accuracy is spot on.

3G is good until 2033 so no immediate concerns there.
