postman was good to me today, and I managed to get them in the garage discreetly
New to me gear box guard £55 (instead of the new £250 cost)
Couple of spotlights to go onto the new brackets I got last week
And as it’s payday, just hit the button to order the front V8 brake upgrade kit

The brake upgrade I can get away with, been getting a bit of shimmy in the steering wheel on braking after they’re warm recently that she’s noticed so probably a slightly warped disk, upgrade isn’t “much” more than fresh disks and pads.2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

Wow! EBay order placed at 4:25 yesterday, brake upgrade parts from Maltings arrived 10am this morning, great service! (And got them out the way while wife on a call)
Those are big disks!

Kit was £190, I’ve ordered new disk retention screws and a sensor (description didn’t include but one turned up with the kit) so £200 in total
Terrafirma V8 disks with Terrafirma red pads plus the larger brackets etc.

I genuinely hope the post is in jest? I've always found it bizarre people having to hide, lie, sneak car and bike parts from other halves. If people are spending money their partner wouldn't approve of,maybe they need a different partner, car, lifestyle? If the other half was hiding a gambling habit what's the difference?
