anything special I need before towing a trailer/caravan?

I am buying a small travel popup trailer for a few trips away this year.

I have ordered a tow hitch (went for the CURT 13456 Class III Receiver in the end, I didnt fancy the small ones which bolt on to the central reciever mount - and I wasnt paying $800 for the OEM quick release one)

Once I have that installed, plus the 7 pin wiring kit, plus the electronic brake controller is there anything I should keep in mind specifically with the LR3 when towing a braked trailer?

I read the manual and it talked about making sure the trailer is level when hitched, and the specific range of towball height to the receiver etc - how on earth do you adjust the mount to make sure everything is level on a fixed chunk of metal like a tow hitch?

If the trailer has LED lights you will need a “pulse buster” to stop the trailer LEDs constantly pulsing.
You can them, or make one yourself
