Hi gstuart I’m replacing the pipe due to it having a split/hole in it.
The pipe is loose just struggling to get it out was wondering what was the best was to get it out and the new one back in
Hi
Plus 1 what disco mikey has mentioned
Have got pictures in my thread , I removed and replaced mine by , removing
Upper/ lower fan surround, plus fan , plus hoses, pipes at the bottom of the rad cowl
Passenger plastic wheelarch , inner wheel arch liner , don’t forget the torx bolt as well after you’ve removed the passenger side headlight
Removed the 3 x nuts / bolts , they are swines to get back in
Disconnect the metal intercooler clamps and hoses both ends , push it up out the way
Undo the clamp on the scavenger oil pipe
plse let us know how u get on and indeed a second pair of hands as I struggled like hell on my own to get that pipe out and back in again
Would u also be so kind to take some pictures of the split / hole in the pipe plse
Hope the above is also helpful to u

Fan and cowling out
A 2nd pair of hands helps
Lots of patience
I think I took the top pipe off the turbo, but its been a while since I last done it. Whatever way, it wasn't much fun
Hi mate
Yep, done the same removing that metal intercooler pipe both ends then pushed it out the way and indeed as u say a 2nd pair of hands very helpful , also struggled like hell on my own and think it would test the patience of a saint
Think some of the worst bits were getting those 3 x nuts and bolts out and back in again
