Hi
Just about to buy a August 2005 HSE - just wondered if anyone could tell me when the Hybrid TV option was launched....
And also, are there many differences between a HSE of that age, and todays spec.. So many things on it, difficult to know what is standard and what is an option
Any help would be most appreciated
Tracey

Thank you .... If I look on the bright side, at least it's one less thing to figure out how to work

Welcome Tracey
as I assume from your name you are just down the coast from me!
The spec has changed but only really with the 07 and 08 MY. I have an 05 HSE and it remained pretty unchanged apart form rear air con I think until the 07 model. The HSE spec has changed less than all the other models that is for sure. end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Hi - thanks for your warm welcome - Lee-bay-on-Solent is my ebay ID too - thought it was a good play on the name !! Where are you located - can't quite see on the map...
Looks like we might pick up the car today - really excited... There are so many things on it, I guess I was just trying to find out what mine had as standard and what was extra's, but without a 2005 pricelist etc, it's not that easy.. I'll have a good play around when I get it home and find out whats what....
kind regards
Tracey

Good luck
The HSE had pretty much everything available as standard in 05, most extras were bolts ons on the outside I think!!
I am over River Hamble way....although best not to be too detailed on the net
I'll keep an eye out. Nearly everyopne round here has a silver one so a blue one should be an easy spot end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Hi Tracy,
Welcome to the site from Hayling Island!
Richard.
PS Spotters arranging a meet for us southern'ers soon!!
I have arranged a tame play day near Chichester on May 4th for a few friends and local D3's.
If your interested in getting it dirty, (but not trashing it..) PM me your email and I'll send you details. Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

May 4th you say? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
