I fitted Heko deflectors to my D3 around 9 years ago and haven’t had any problems.

I've found the German Climair ones to be the best in my opinion.

I've had the Heko ones on both by D4s but also heard good reviews about the Auto Clover ones, a nice design that aligns to the shape of the car and they supposedly generate less wind noise.

Hi,
new to this Wind Deflector stuff
Recently bought D3 has them fitted, so when do they come in useful
do you drop the window a bit when driving through town or is it for when driving quicker,
only seen 1 car "using" them and driver dropped windows 30mm when they got Out of the car and locked it, is for hot days when the car is parked (not very secure )
can see me using them when I sleep in the car, but thats 1 night once a year
I like the look of them on the D3 but considering taking them off as dont know when I would benefit from them

I had them on my d3 as well when in Europe it’s nice to drop the windows a little and turn the aircon off

There’s a set for sale up near me (just bought a boot bag and seat covers off them) for £20…
If anyone wants them I’m happy to facilitate I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
