TCCM Calibration

Fitted a new TCCM module due to the chips been fried. I am now having problems getting it calibrated. Can anyone recommend software/diagnostic tool I can acquire to do the job or is it only a dealer job.

Also as it is locked in park with all the lights flashing is there a way of manually putting it in neutral so I can move the car

Welcome!

Buy an IID and you will be fine…

It is THE tool for your LR, and though not cheap, the resell value is also very high
The general experience is here, that you will earn your money back very quick in fault finding, repair, adjustment, upgrading, flashing etc. Etc.

Tip, some info on your D3 in the “say hello topic” would be nice.. Wink
 Best regards

Thanks for that Tip, I hadn’t noticed that section so I will add some info on my D3.

Before I spend a lot of money on a IID Tool have you or anyone else successfully calibrated the TCCM with it, as I had considered getting one but been told it won’t do the job.

Thanks for your help,
Regards Peter

GAP tool pretty much does it all. Suggest you read their manual on their website if you are curious. I’ve used it for Range Position Sensor Calibration and the TC Clutch Calibration, which I think are the only things that need calibrating with the TCCM. This is a very common service because it’s done anytime the transfer case is serviced (including fluid flushes) or if the transfer case is acting up.
