Side table anyone?
Hi All, has anyone built anything like this as a pack away table? This one looks pretty basic but I like the idea for under the awning. Any photos?

I did think about doing something similar to create a kitchen area, sink and cooking etc. I thought about having a solid back that the table dropped down from, same as the D2 / defender rear door one, but on a larger scale that attached to the FR rack with similar setup to this

I don't really have a great picture, but here's mine. Very basic, and very handy. Plywood with a few coats of poly, weather strip along the edge the rests against the paint, some paracord.‘98 DI

The weatherstrip is just to avoid scratching up the paint. The shelf is only supported by the paracord, which hangs from a pair of hooks slid into the awning channel.‘98 DI

That could be valid concern. I wonder if any data has been gathered that would show the number of vehicle fires attributed to camp stoves vs vehicle failures?‘98 DI
