Feeling some what annoyed as wanted to buy these wheels and tyres and as far as i was concerned i was in that process for all to see on the thread ....
Asking best price and could i meet as per his previous post to meet near me to other member to collect the wheels....was waiting for a reply and now there sold .... is dibs or the context of a thread trying to buy off a for sale post constitute a deal is being done ......

Please may I explain the reality - at no point did you say "Dibs" which commonly means I will take them at the asking price (not haggle):

    8.11pm your message to me "Hi there ....whats your best price go from there ???? and can i meet you at shipton on stour if we proceed ?? for collection ...... cheers paul" followed by my response "Thanks for the post - would take a sensible offer - bearing in mind there's a lot of wheels and tyres here!"
    8.19pm another member PMs and asks if they are "still for sale" ? My reply "Yes"
    8:36 pm same member messages to say they will take them at the asking price, and paid shortly after.
    3 days later you reply to my message to say you will offer £100 less than asking price conditional on me bringing them to place I had advertised I was going to once some weeks earlier. "hi there again .......£300 ?? and can we meet in shipston on stour when your next there , as i cant drive for more than a hour at a time at the mo"

At no point did you agree to purchase them at the asking price, and you took 3 days to think about making an offer.

JDB I think the amount of wheel & tyre you were selling was a crazy low price already at the 400 mark, if it was me and I received a further lowball offer I'd just send it straight to the bin.
Even if the offer was reasonable a 3 day wait with no dibs is not really reason to hold them!

I'm only chucking my 2 cents in as I've been watching these thinking of ripping your arm off for 400 myself Laughing Zambezi Silver '05 SE, loved work truck and family outings Smile *Sold, Nooooo*
