[For Sale] 1997 Defender 90 300Tdi - 85,000 miles from new
Hi all
Here we have my Defender 90 County Hardtop 300Tdi Reggie.
Very low mileage with less than 85,000 miles with service history coming out of his yingyan!
Arles Blue with cloth techno seats. Being a “County” spec he came from the factory with a Land Rover sunroof (no….. it doesn’t leak 😄) cloth seats, alpine roof lights, full headlining and lined sides.
Reggie is 24 years old and has been very well looked after. That said he has a few age related bumps and general wear BUT his chassis is superb as is his bulkhead. I was told that he has been waxoyl’d since new and I have recently had the chassis hot washed and then any surface rust has been painted with Aqua Steel and then a good helping of Lanoguard sprayed in the box sections of the chassis and the outside.
Cheap tax (£280 per year) cheap insurance (£190 per year full comp) and MOT until end of May 2022.
Full LED light upgrade, though they look just like Reggie would have left the factory with. Raised air intake and raised breathers. Unmarked Boost Alloys (he would have left the factory with white steel wheels) and decent all terrain all weather tyres.

Yep, he’s a good un.
Probably the best Defender I have owned over the years in every way and will be sad to see him go. The only reason I am selling is that I have a new car arriving soon.

As much as I love D4’s I will have to say no. The reason for sale is that I have a new car coming and need to make space on my drive.
