Hi there,
I am in the process of installing a winch in my Disco 4 TDV6 (2010).
I am a little unsure about the wiring. The workshop manuel says that you should go to a ground point under the fuse box. However, the general recommendation is to clamp the ground of the winch directly to the negative terminal of the battery.
My question therefore, how you have solved this?
Cheers
Dan

My winch negative is wired directly to the battery and I also added heavy duty earth leads to chassis đź‘Ť

Its recommended by winch manufacturers that the negative goes straight to the battery Andrew
