This is such a great community that you have built here and it is very much appreciated. I would also like to personally thank you for taking the time to respond to PMs over the weekend, when I really was not expecting any response that quick.
The sense of community on here is exemplified buy the number of Volvo drivers who still post on a regular basis, and not just to float how reliable their cars are, or how helpful the dealers are. I still love my Disco, so do not plan to sell it any time soon.
Regards,
Steve

I must admit that I spend a lot of time online in the forum when I can, not just for Land Rover-related stuff but general chit-chat amongst like-minded people, even though there are sometimes "robust" discussions!!
I definitely concur with the OP, and thanks Martin, along with the various moderators in the different LR/RR forums!!

Personally think you’re doing a cr*p job Martin ……
…… how can you allow your forum to be overrun with all these Volvo, BMW, Skoda owners.
Only kidding, great job. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Who on here owns a BMW? That certainly isn’t allowed but a Volvo is kind of like a cousin to a Land Rover
All the best for the Festive season Martin !

I’ve got a BMW…..it’s also a cousin to a Land Rover as it’s got HDC…..(which BMW nicked during their brief foray into Land Rover ownership)…..it’s for my X5, in case a Waitrose car park is on a slight angle "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

so, BMW actually OWNED LR, so are some sort of step-parent.
Volvo are just the illegitimate child of one of "our" other step-parents, Ford.

Oh, it gets more incestuous than that…Ford bought Land Rover from BMW, before selling to their current owners, TATA.
The convoluted world of the motor industry "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

There’s a line for non-LR sections with Skoda and Volvo at the front.
