Blower Relay question.

A Question for those of you who know about the blower fan wiring.

So if Relay R176 controls power to the fans what would happen if you triggered this relay from a separate +ve feed whilst the disco is switched off. Would the fans come on and blow air in the cab ?

No.

You would need to send pulses to the fan speed controller to get the fan running.
You can buy expensive modules to do such things.

Personally I would just run the fbh to get the coolant warm.
And not run the fan, and save the battery.

It’s a whole world of pain to get fans running, hot, blowing out the vent you want.
And it’s a far from ideal solution (having to set things up the previous evening)

Thanks Pete I guessed as much. On my FF it was so easy, just a 3 pin plug at the back where the remote module is and ground the signal wire to switch on the FBH and climate....
