Kudos to Gap Support

As I've mentioned elsewhere my D4 was stolen a week ago.

Forgot that my IIDTool was in it, until I got an automated email last night that suggested one of the thieving scum was trying to get it to work.

Fired off an email this morning to Gap, initially got an out of office response, as expected as it is Sunday, but have now had one from Patrick Meilleur at Gap (is that Pat as we know him on here?) advising that the unit is now locked, and can no longer be used.

In the unlikely event I get my car and contents back, he'll unlock it only when I ask.

Excellent support.

Agreed Richard.

Meanwhile I've passed the information onto the PC dealing with my case.

No idea if it will be of any use, as I suspect the thieving scum will have appropriate cut-outs in place to avoid being traced.

But you never know...
