EPB

Hi all,
Having an issue with the epb on my d3. Had the fault with poorly adjusted shoes and the screecing noise when applying hand brake. I follwed the guide for stripping the epb and replacing the damaged plastic gears. Once reassembled i tried the handbrake but it winds the Lh cable all the way back out again until it disconnects.
Every which way i try it ends up unwinding the Lh cable.
Any ideas please.

Sound like motor turning the wrong way. Check the connections.

A possible problem may be that it thinks its in the "replace shoes mode" which winds the cables out to make it easier. Have you a code reader so you can take it out of this mode.
