Yes the window trims that sit on the top of the door skin have a single screw there the black B Pillar is. At least the front do, I can't remember the rears when I changed them on Miss Moneypit.
This might help re colour coding of pads.

Bless u for the picture , that’s extremely helpful
Perfect ref the screws , think I read some have 1 and others have 2 , will just have a good search before trying to pull them off, lol
They’ve just bubbled up , my intention is when I can is to put a smoke machine in the cabin that I bought a little while ago as I’ve got ingress of water on the passenger side , that’s a job for another day
Plus hoping it will show me where one of the door seals arnt sealing properly as on the motorway I can hear a slight whistle , have tightened up the door jam but think it’s the back passenger side that’s causing it
Must admit sounds like I need to get out more but enjoy doing projects like this on the disco
What do use or recommend for the black plastic scuttle panel under the front wipers, mine is a lighter shade of grey!! The rest of the black plastic is pretty good.
I tried all sorts on Moneypit. Gtechniq C4 lasted a while, Solution finish was reasonable too, but messy to apply. Prep is key, a decent degreaser like Britemax helps the colourant to stick. Some folk swear by peanut butter but I'd rather eat it than smear my Disco in it. In the end I replaced the scuttle which I don't recall was overly expensive give how much I spent on chemicals to try & restore the colour.

Thanks Gents, will have a look into a new one and if not, plastic paint it is then. Can you remember the part number?
Just lets it down a bit. Its no trailer queen (it pulls one once in a while though!) but still want it too look respectable.
To that end, this afternoon it got a snow foam, jet wash down, AG shampoo’d and aquawaxed!! It’ll be filthy by the middle of next week again, but nice for now.2013 Baltic Blue D4 - a balance between family car and camping machine - trying to not bladder it with stuff I dont need!

Hiya
If it helps here’s my thread on the refurb, used my old scuttle panel
@gstuart your passenger side leak have you checked the scuttle is secured correct if you had it off to paint? When I replaced mine one clip didn't seat properly which caused a slight raising of the scuttle. This allow water ingress through the bulkhead.

Hiya
Many thks, fitted all new clips on the scuttle panel along with the mod of sealing up the bottom hole on the A pillar
Just driving me nuts as for the life of me I cant see where it’s coming in from , pollen filter is dry and must admit haven’t done that mod over the pollen filter intake with some plastic
Have got a new set of A pillars and new passenger side door rubber seal as I thought if I replace all of them I’m hoping it will cure it
That’s why I thought the smoke machine should help me find the leak , maybe ingress from a weld, haven’t got a sunroof so that’s one issue out the way
Also read somewhere of putting some silicone on the A pillar clips which I don’t think will hurt, maybe doing that when i fit the new A pillars
Just hoping the smoke machine is key to finding the ingress , famous last words
